BUSCAN 7 DEPORTES IR A JO 2016

LAUSANNE, June 15, 2009 – The seven sports lobbying for inclusion in the 2016 Olympic Games will make their presentations to the IOC’s Executive Board this afternoon.

Representatives from baseball, golf, karate, roller sports, rugby sevens, softball and squash will each make a 20-minute presentation at IOC Headquarters.

Presentations will be conducted in alphabetical order and the Executive Board is expected to make a recommendation that two, or possibly three, will be submitted for approval by the IOC at its 121st Session in Copenhagen in October.

Baseball and softball were voted off the 2012 London Olympic Games programme in 2005.
